Equipping Churches and Parents to Raise Resilient Disciples of the Next Generation

The Equipping Churches and Parents to Raise Resilient Disciples of the Next Generation program will take place in partnership with the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center. Awana will gather cohorts of ministry leaders from African American congregations, multicultural congregations, and immigrant congregations to explore how congregations might support parents and families. Wheaton College’s School of Marriage and Family Therapy will gather ministry leaders and train them to become parent discipleship coaches. Awana will create resources to support parents as they share their faith and help their children become more resilient.
