The Aspen Project

The Aspen Project, named for the most populous tree and largest organism in Northwestern Minnesota, will assist more than 20 rural congregations in creating sustainable ministries for the faith formation of children that connect the home and church. Project activities will include hosting monthly webinars and annual in-person gatherings for parents and congregational leaders, training coaches to work with parents and supporting congregations to create small groups for parents. This effort builds on and supports a growing network of congregations Calvary created through a grant in the Endowment’s Thriving Congregations Initiative.
