Wonderspace

College Wesleyan Church will expand its ministry WonderSpace by creating Christian play-based, grief groups for families that provide faith-informed language and resources to support mental health and wellbeing. Using a nationally acclaimed play-based peer support model, WonderSpace will adapt the model to incorporate Christian theology and practice. WonderSpace will specifically serve families and congregations in Grant County, especially those who are grieving due to loss from death, removal from home into foster care or parent incarceration sand seek to maintain this opportunity free of charge to those who it could support. Congregations will design play spaces that encourage grief support and will train local pastors to implement the grief support.
