Dominus Project

FranU’s Dominus Project seeks to train catechetical leaders in parishes in the Diocese of Baton Rouge, La., to support parents and caregivers in sharing their faith with children. FranU will gather priests and professional lay ministers to study together recent research on child development and parenting, create a catechetical certificate program that incorporates insights from research into the training of priests, professional lay ministers and volunteers who work with parents and children, host lectures and workshops for parents and caregivers, develop new home-based catechetical resources for families, and provide ongoing support for parishes that implement home catechesis programs.
