Fostering Faith in Families

The Fostering Faith in Families Initiative will host regional parenting conferences across the United States and promote quarterly intergenerational family weekends in individual churches to assist parents and caregivers in sharing their faith with children. To support parents in nurturing faith in daily moments of family life, AG will engage child development experts and theologians to work together to produce resources for use on multiple media (mobile app, blog posts, monthly podcast, video series, moderated Facebook groups, etc.). AG also will identify older parents and grandparents and invite them to share their parenting wisdom with others through a monthly newsletter. Finally, AG will create a monthly activity calendar for families that will help promote conversations about faith in the home.
