GenOn Christian Parenting Project

GenOn Ministries will equip and empower parents and caregivers from diverse backgrounds to engage in Christian practices that nurture a vital and vibrant Christian faith in their families. GenOn has partnered with Christian churches for 60 years to help them build continuous family-centered faith-forming environments to nurture the spiritual lives of children from infancy through young adolescence. GenOn will create three resources that will be tested in up to 150 churches nationally: 1) a video-based parent education program with mentoring, 2) print, online and digital resources to encourage families to engage in faith-forming practices and activities in the home, and 3) training, videos, and tools for church leaders to support parents as they practice faith in the home. In addition, GenOn will conduct six regional conferences to share resources more broadly.
