Te Acompaño

The Te Acompaño program seeks to support Latino immigrant parents in sharing their faith with their United States-born, English-speaking children by helping parents engage in storytelling and in family Christian practices that reflect their values. To advance this aim, Fe y Vida will establish two training programs. The first program for parents will be offered at the regional, diocesan or parish levels and form parents into small peer groups to engage in biblical study and enhance parenting skills. The second program for priests and professional and volunteer ministers will be offered at the national level and teach leaders how to develop ministries for Latino parents.
