The Bridging Faith: Families Serving Families

The Bridging Faith: Families Serving Families Initiative seeks to help parents and caregivers from diverse backgrounds share their Christian faith with their children through practices of meaningful service. Bridging Faith will teach and prepare families in congregations to walk alongside families facing homelessness during a 12 to 18-month period. Both volunteer families and families facing homelessness will experience the same reciprocal giving and receiving dynamics as they meet regularly to build relationships and share their faith with each other. A curriculum will provide families with conversation starters, opportunities to develop daily rhythms of prayer, Bible storytelling guides and instruction for crafting family narratives that are repeatable and highlight God’s love.
