Family Faith: Deepening Roots, Strengthening Families

Through the Family Faith: Deepening Roots, Strengthening Families program, the synod will gather cohorts and peer groups of parents from eighteen ethnic specific and multi-cultural congregations across the synod to explore how to raise children in the Christian faith. The parent cohorts will explore current and long-trusted practices, share wisdom for connecting with children with the gospel and create space to support practicing faith in the home. The synod will partner with 1517 Media to develop faith formation resources specific to the language and cultural context of participating communities. Once a year cohorts and peer groups will gather together with other congregations across the synod for a Faith Family learning opportunity.
