Beyond Sunday

The Beyond Sunday program seeks to gather, educate, and equip Christian parents with skills to share their faith with their children. Working collaboratively with Common Ground Church and the Edna Martin Christian Center, the program will support families with children in the Indianapolis Public Schools system and provide them with Christian parenting resources that reflect various cultural traditions and are appropriate for families from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. These resources will teach and encourage parents to engage in Christian practices and rituals with their children. In addition, the program will organize regular Parent Lunch and Learn events, sponsor mission trips for families and host gatherings for congregations in Indianapolis to share best practices for supporting parents.
