Christian Parenting & Caregiving Initiative

Program activities will include: creation of the Center for Faith and Family which will serve as the hub for the project; annual district workshops for parents and church leaders to promote rituals, traditions, and best practices that nurture faith development in children through the use of online curriculum on our website; direct engagement with more than 100 families to support the creation of supportive resources, such as curriculum and podcasts and annual conferences on Christian parenting on the university campus. Shine.fm, Olivet Nazarene’s radio station, will record and edit the weekly “Faith Together” podcast, provide advertising for the podcast, distribute the podcast on a variety of platforms, and air the podcast on the radio station on Sunday evenings. Shine.fm has a listener audience of 250,000 families on its FM channel along with an additional 280,000 online listeners.
