The Growing Faith Initiative

The Growing Faith Initiative will strengthen the spiritual formation of children and youth in their homes, recognizing parents as the primary teachers of their children. Passport fosters significant faith-shaping experiences for 5,000 children and youth each summer and employs more than 60 college students and seminary students as counselors. The Growing Faith Initiative will enable Passport to enhance its online digital platform, d365.org, a daily devotional app, that serves more than 375,000 users a year, to provide resources for parents that reflect the needs of families from culturally diverse contexts. In addition, Passport will use digital media to connect parents to their camper’s faith-building experiences at camp and develop a prototype of a resource box that campers will bring home to continue faith-related rituals and conversations that they learned at camp with their parents.
