The Faith Forming Families Network (F3 Network) seeks to share with parents and caregivers among Pittsburgh Theological Seminary’s constituencies the legacy of the Rev. Fred McFeely Rogers, who is the seminary’s most famous alumnus, that “every child should be loved exactly as they are.” The F3 Network will create cohorts that gather parents and faith leaders for peer education and problem-based learning about how parents can more confidently share their faith with their children. The cohorts will design new congregational approaches for ministries with families, and congregations will receive small grants to implement ministry projects. The F3 Network will provide additional educational opportunities for parents and faith leaders through seminars, workshops, consultations, and courses.
