The Surge Center for Christian Parenting

The Surge Center for Christian Parenting (CCP) will provide local congregations with training, peer-coaching, tools and resources to help parents and caregivers integrate spiritual development more fully into their children’s daily lives. CCP will form 30 church learning cohorts for pastors, congregational leaders and parents that will meet during a 15-month period to explore innovative congregational ministry models for supporting families. CCP also will offer consulting services for 12 to 15 congregations to help them develop and implement plans to enhance ministries for parents. In addition, the program will establish a learning hub that will convene child development experts with parents and congregational leaders and produce resources to support Christian parenting.
