Seeds of Faith Project-Spiritual Life

The Seeds of Faith Project-Spiritual Life Program seeks to bolster parents’ confidence in sharing their faith with children by providing parents with educational resources, facilitating parenting support groups and making available easy-to-use tools to facilitate family engagement in Christian practices in homes. Working collaboratively with the United Methodist Church in Puerto Rico, four local churches and several nonprofit organizations that serve children and families, the program will host small parenting groups, invite parents to co-create with faith leaders podcasts and YouTube videos about family practices that support the faith formation of children and organize spiritual retreats for families. The program also will provide professional development opportunities on Christian parenting for local church leaders and co-host small and large parenting education events with local congregations.
