Scottsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church

OptIN Kids 

Working collaboratively with the Cumberland Presbyterian General Assembly, the OptIN Kids program seeks to develop tools and activities that make it easy for families to explore Christian practices in the home and to build bridges between families in homes and local congregations. The program will create six tool kits to help families engage in faith formation in their homes, focusing on Gospel stories, prayer, worship, church, neighborliness, and sabbath. Five congregations will test the kits with families in their churches.  If successful, Scottsboro anticipates developing additional tool kits focused on key milestones in children’s lives, celebrations of holidays and challenging family situations.
