Family Camp

SpringHill will launch a unique four-day Christian family camp to encourage and equip parents and significant caregivers to be the spiritual leaders of their families. During a joyful time of fun, faith, and adventure, families will participate in activities that intentionally form the relationships and daily rhythms central to shared spiritual growth. Meals are time for engagement and discussion, zip lines ask families to step out in faith together, and bedtime is a ritual of loving reassurance and prayer. The Seymour, Indiana camp is a sacred space where families can explore new behaviors and create new memories removed from the distractions of the world. Development of the camp over the past year included focus groups and surveys with millennial families, expert design of physical assets and services, and program guidance from the best current research in family ministry. All were brought together in summer 2023 through a highly informative four-day, 16 family beta test camp. SpringHill Camps also researched and designed a capital campaign to raise the over $6 million needed for family housing and shared services. The organization’s focus now is launching both Family Camp 2024 and the capital campaign, and anticipates reaching over 100 families this summer and 600 families by 2027.
