Community Care Program

The Community Care Program will create a bridge between church and home for Christian families. The Josephites will provide small grants for parishes as they design their own ministry for parents and families. Ministries might look like after-school/work programs, community gardens, free lending libraries, livestream prayer times or peer support groups for cooking nutritious meals. Parish teams will be encouraged to identify local organizations with concern for families to co-host events for the parish community. In addition, the Josephites will invite the Institute of Black Church Studies at Xavier University to help young people relate their Catholic faith with their Black American culture in liturgy, worship and song.
