The Soil and The Seed Project

The Soil and The Seed Project seeks to create resources (“Little Liturgies”) that help parents engage in faith practices with children at home in the ordinary moments of life. The project will produce resources on scripture, suggest prayers and offer open ended questions to prompt spiritual conversations that reflect on events in daily life. VMM will complete resources based on scripture texts in the second half of the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) cycle, publish a hymnbook for families, create cohorts of church leaders and parents for mutual learning, host events and retreats for parents and families, and support musicians and artists in the creation of additional resources for families. VMM is committed to providing all resources free of charge to parents and congregations.
