Christian Parenting Program

The Christian Parenting program seeks to help congregations create and enhance ministries with families that support the faith formation of children. The program will gather two cohorts of 15 to 18 congregations each to explore how they can nurture the faith of children and families through contemplative spirituality, intergenerational community and child-focused advocacy and activism. During a 15-month period, the congregational cohorts will participate in retreats and meet monthly to explore Christian practices that can be used by families. In addition, congregations may apply for small grants to support the creation of ministries for parents and children.
