The Unbridled Presence program will develop engaging, relevant resources that support children’s worship and prayer in ELCA congregations. The Unbridled Presence program includes four main activities. First, 1517 Media will create worship education resources for children and families, including board books, illustrated picture books, and other print and digital resources for children and their caregivers. Second, the organization will create worship education resources for pastors, other ministry leaders, and congregation members to invite them into including children more fully in worship. Third, the organization will develop a new suite of music resources for children using existing music from its worship resources and newly composed music. Fourth, the organization will engage in ongoing research and product development activities with external collaborators to identify ongoing challenges, needs, and strategies for nurturing children in worship and prayer and to develop new resources that meet these needs.
