Asbury Theological Seminary

Asbury Theological Seminary will work to develop a research-based program to support the spiritual formation needs of neurodivergent children and children with special needs. By utilizing Godly Play principles and adaptive storytelling techniques, the Seminary aims to develop a worship and prayer curriculum that provides concrete, visual, and tactile experiences to engage children of all abilities. These will include prompts for intergenerational interactions to foster community and learning opportunities for both children and adults. ATS will also work with congregational leadership to receive training guides and participate in annual retreats.
