Catholic Diocese of Austin will develop a methodology for children's choirs that is deeply respectful to the developmental moments of childhood. This comprehensive, multicultural, and multilingual choir ministry will holistically prepare young people to be worship ministers who are informed by a vibrant personal faith, and by a deep catechetical knowledge. The program team selects prayers of the early Christian church, as well as prayers from the lectionary and composes new developmentally appropriate music for children's choirs. The team then creates corresponding at-home lessons for families.
