The Welcoming Children program will provide training and guidance for Chinese-speaking pastors, ministry leaders, and parents to help them strengthen the religious formation of children through intergenerational worship. In the first phase, CESNA will engage church leaders in workshops and conferences focused on the theological rationale and practical benefits of intergenerational worship and prayer practices. These events also will teach congregations strategies that will help bridge the generational gap between parents and their children. In a second phase, CESNA will deploy seminary students through internships to support congregations as they design and implement their own efforts to strengthen intergenerational worship.
