For The Children (FTC) will equip churches to welcome children in foster care by incorporating sensory-rich, trauma-informed, intergenerational worship and prayer. Church leaders and laity from at least 80 congregations will engage in a training course to discover the reasons behind behaviors and proven interventions. Church leaders invited to the training course and will be invited to use a Sunday Morning Toolkit (SMT) with best practices and a pragmatic approach to accommodate special needs. Leaders and volunteers will receive in-person training in these practices through FTC Regional Conferences. Finally, For the Children will expand their Royal Family KIDS Camp and mentoring programs with more robust multi-sensory worship and introduce these programs to new churches.
