The “I Am a Disciple” Children’s Initiative will equip churches to prepare children and families to bring their faith home by increasing intergenerational discipleship through worship, prayer and service events, sermon series, experiential age‐aligned Sunday school curriculum, and resourcing pastors and volunteers with training in effective modeling, mentoring and messaging for children’s faith formation. AG Kidmin will partner with the Bible Engagement Project (BEP) to create an experiential age‐aligned curriculum focused on a discipleship pathway for elementary‐age children, with intergenerational activities and services designed to include children from Pre-K through high school. To launch this new paradigm for children’s ministry, AG Kidmin will also partner with other ministries of the national office, key churches, and denominational leadership which will offer the most significant opportunity to equip, train, and release pastors and lay leaders to improve the experience of faith formation for children across the U.S. in multiple languages and cultural realities.
