New York, NY

Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America will ensure engaged and supportive participation of children with disabilities in the Divine Liturgy. GOA will bring together a cohort of 12 pilot parishes which will actively address the question of how to ensure the accessible participation of children with disabilities in the Divine Liturgy in order to nurture their faith. Coaches will visit each congregation to observe, evaluate, and model possibilities. Pilot congregations will adopt new congregations to support their efforts. Alongside the cohorts, a leadership team will create sensory-based resources to support the liturgical year and will create an official ASL translation of the Divine Liturgy.
