Ministry Council of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church

Ministry Council of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church will provide customized tools for congregational leaders as they plan for children's inclusion in corporate worship. The Council will encourage and support collaboration between pastors, congregational leaders, and parents, and children with resources, coaching, courses, and events that will help each participant understand their individual roles in the worshiping community. An introductory two-hour workshop will provide an overview for congregations across 21 presbyteries. Additional activities include a one-day intergenerational event and a weekend gathering of children for hands-on learning and development of worship leadership skills. Coaching for pastors and congregational leaders will be available as they create inclusive worship environments tailored to their unique needs and circumstances.
