Wesleyan Church

Wesleyan Church (TWC) will strengthen intergenerational worship across the denomination. TWC will train 22 local churches in crafting sermons for diverse age groups, enhancing visual and sensory experiences in worship, and communicating the importance of worshiping together. TWC will partner with Wesleyan universities and seminaries to mentor interns who are studying to become full-time pastors to cultivate a mindset early in their careers that emphasizes the inclusion of children in worship settings. The leaders of the local churches and the interns will gather to plan intergenerational worship services together. In addition, TWC will create a curriculum for early elementary aged children to teach them worship traditions.
