Wheaton College will work with churches as they advocate for a robust theology of disability that describes a biblical foundation for church culture where worship and prayer are accessible to all. Wheaton College will support congregations to host a one-day Convocation event that brings together leadership and families affected by disability. Churches that have hosted an event are welcomed into a Consortium Network, enhancing collaboration through regular meetings. This will bring together voices of experts around inclusive worship and prayer with pastors, worship leaders, disability ministry leaders, youth ministry leaders, and children's ministry leaders to share insights and knowledge. Wheaton will host a Faith and Disability Summit, gathering participants of the Consortium and Convocations, along with other relevant stakeholders, to reflect on and share lessons learned during the project.
